Cedar Log Foot Bridge

September 2021

Spanning about 23 feet between cedar abuttments

Two reclaimed telephone poles provide the span, likely from western red cedar.

Western red cedar 10×10’s, mortised and tenoned and scribed to boulders make the natural abutments.

The walkway is about 3 feet wide.

A combination of north woods white cedar logs and poplar saplings create the handrails. Everything stained for a uniformly weathered appearance.
