Pocket cathedral
This frame came about while I was writing an article on reproducing the #6 truss of the Notre Dame de Paris choir framing in Washington DC in 2021. With my head steeped in a book on medieval French church roof framing and given ‘carte blanche’ for the design of a backyard timber frame for entertaining, I followed my heart and dreams.
