Timber Framing and Timber Frame Education in Duluth Minnesota

Building is a process that revolves and evolves around conversations. The more care is taken in considering all aspects and persons involved, the better the result will be. Whether you are looking to start a conversation or would like me to join into one, please feel free to get in touch.
Hillside Woodshed
July 2019

Tucking in right below the roof overhang of the garage/shop this woodshed takes up what was unused space in the back yard and makes it more attractive. Holds about two cord of fire wood for the house, and never enough scraps from and for the woodshop.
Half lap half dovetails for bracing in the four bents.
The timber is fir that came from dunnage on a cargo ship. As far as I can tell some kind of fir. Jointed on two sides for easier layout.
